KNIGHTS OF THE ROUND

Knights of the Round was my purchased arcade game. I was surprised to find dip switch settings to change the numbers of players from 2 to 3. Nice one. Now I don't need a new board like I did with most of my Konami boards. It currently shares the mother board with 'The Punisher' games since the mother board belonging to Knights of the Round broke.
The motherboard that Knights Of The Round came with was slightly dodgy and at times it would suddenly halt all sounds and make sounds that resembled listening to Eminem amplified through your whistling teapot.

For a long time this was really annoying and I wanted to send it back to the guy who sold it to me.
Luckily once I had bought The Punisher I was able to swap the motherboards between Punisher and Knights Of The Round. Oddly the Punisher circuit would not fit on the dodgy Knights of the Round motherboard at all. I think the only problem with this is swapping them over takes ages to do but worse still is the fact that the dip switch settings have to be changed as well to suit the game settings every time the switch is made. Gah!

For some reason it has a big battery stuck on the top to save some of the game data. Why didn't they just put more chips on it?
This game overall is a great Capcom Beat-Em-Up, your character levels up just as if you were in an RPG.

All the heroes have cool hair styles. Except for Perceval, or Parcevel as the game often refers to him as. Another game that is riddled with stupid spelling mistakes
