WRESTLEFEST

This was another game that I desperately wanted to buy ever since I first started buying arcade games. Even now I still think it's the best wrestling game you can play. Who cares that it isn't in 3D graphics!
This was when the WWF was at its best. Now WWF wrestling is a shadow of it's former greatness. It's a great shame that it's just so appalling now. Or WWE as it's now called.
In my opinion this game has the best game engine out of them all and is also the most fair, this game is most fun during a 4 player game, especially during a 'Royal Rumble'.

The pins however are of the worse design ever. Since they are horizontally orientated the wires keep falling off. The solder remaining on the pins makes it even more
difficult to keep them on and it's not very practical to solder my own wires onto them because I have to put the boards away.
Funnily enough it does create some amusing arguments amongst my friends. Since Wrestlefest is
such a competitive game quite often there is a lot of rivalry between all my
mates.
In one incident my mate was bragging how good he was at the game but
the pin for his attack button fell out and he was getting totally beaten by everyone for quite some time.
But of course my mate was really proud and claimed his joypad wasn't working. It was true of course but I didn't mention this. I'd rewired the wire back on without anyone noticing so his pad miraculously started working again.
What a lovely story. The End!
Highly amusing really. On the whole several joypads have come to the end of the their lives from playing this game too much.
Wrestlefest does to joypads as did Daley Thompson did to joysticks in the 80's.
I'm going back in the cupboard now. Bye.
