It is quite literally a new step in shoddy translation work, put simply, Super Saiya idiot Level 4. And yes, your eyes are not mistaken, that really is 'contorllor', 'additionsl' and 'stum-pole'.

Well where can I possibly start? This instruction manual is truly legendary English.
Some of my favourites include:-
"Please select the homologous game software that remarked in this product"
"Please don't lay special controller down in unstable or shaking place"
"This product is nice machine"
"Please clean this product with dry washrag"
and my all time favourite:-
"Before you let your children to use this product, for god's sake you must teach your children how to use."
Soundly strong advice of course for any parent across the land.
Again, why oh why don't they get someone to proof read these things :)
