In the olden days of computers we were blessed with miracle breaththrough technology such as that of the radio and telephone.
Then along came the TV and eventually the ability to record our own film on video.

My dad decided one day to get himself a top of the range digital camera. He found one that he liked in a Sony digital camera catalogue and after having made his choice he decided to consult me to check whether or not the camera was any good for the price.

Eventually he did indeed buy the camera shown above but the decision to purchase it certainly wasn't based on the catalogue's information about the camera.

First of all have you ever witnessed a DVD being written instantly like a lightning bolt? Well it's either the world's slowest lightning bolt or it's a bare faced lie. It also doesn't mention that you actually need to own a computer that has a DVD writer installed on it. USB2 doesn't duplicate a DVD, your PC does that part for you. USB2 is just the cable.

The camera records its digital information onto those new small DVD disks. Except that Sony have accidentally displayed the regular sized DVDs behind it, even though they don't fit in the drive. Imbecials!

We have to thank Sony though for their best words of wisdom yet. I don't know about you but once I've finished making a home movie, I'm always baffled about the predicament in how I'm going to show my wonderful movie to my friends. I can show my treasured memories to my mate around the corner because he lives on the next street. It's a little tricky when I need to drive for 2 hours to show my other mate the latest pictures I've taken of the bathroom toilet because he lives far away. But it really does becomes a bit of an inconvenience when I need to jump on a plane to visit my relatives who live abroad. It used to be a problem that would cause me much distress.

But thanks to Sony who kindly reminded me that "You can even send a DVD by post!" my problems have been vanquished!

HOORAY!

So now with total ease I can easily get on with my life and at the same time still share my colourful life with friends and family.
